The Church Gathered Under the Word of God

Serving Stanley, Denver, and the greater Charlotte region

Gather with Us

Coram Deo is a Reformed Baptist church in Stanley, NC, serving the greater Charlotte area including Gaston County, Lincoln County, Denver, and surrounding communities.

We gather each Lord’s Day at 4:00 PM for worship, including the preaching of God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship together.

We currently meet in homes, so we ask that visitors contact us before attending. We would be glad to connect with you and provide the location.

  • We preach through books of the Bible verse by verse, seeking to clearly explain the meaning of the text and apply it to our lives. Our aim is not to share opinions, but to faithfully proclaim what God has said in His Word.

  • Our worship includes hymns, sung together as a congregation. We believe singing is not a performance, but an act of worship offered to the Lord and shared among His people.

  • We hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a faithful summary of biblical doctrine. We read from it during our gatherings to benefit from the clarity and wisdom of those who have gone before us.

  • We believe discipleship happens best in the context of real relationships. We seek to encourage and strengthen one another through personal, one-on-one investment as we grow together in Christ.

How We Worship Together:

Our gatherings are simple, intentional, and centered on the Word of God.

Common Questions

What is your gathering like?

Our gatherings are simple and centered on the Word of God.

We are a family-integrated church, meaning children remain with their families during the service. We believe this allows families to worship together and grow together in the life of the church.

We preach through books of the Bible verse by verse to help us understand and apply God’s Word. Our worship includes congregational singing of hymns, prayer, and times of corporate reading.

We also make use of historic creeds, the 1689 Baptist Confession, and the Baptist Catechism to benefit from the faith and wisdom of those who have gone before us.

We typically conclude our time together with a shared meal, giving opportunity for further fellowship and conversation.

Is there a dress code?

We do not have a formal dress code.

We simply ask that you dress modestly in a way that is fitting for worship and honors the Lord.

How do I attend?

Because we meet in homes, we ask that visitors contact us before attending. We would be glad to connect with you and provide the details for our next gathering.
